The DTC series deep-trough steep-angle belt conveyor is a high-efficiency conveying equipment specially developed by our company for continuous inclined conveying of bulk materials such as coal, ore, and grain.

Application Scope:

Featuring innovative deep-trough idler technology, this series solves the problems of material spillage and slippage that plague ordinary conveyors on steep slopes, enabling stable, efficient conveying at angles of 20°–30° (higher angles available with special configurations).

With core components fully compatible with general belt conveyors, it offers high reliability, strong terrain adaptability, and easy maintenance. Widely used in underground coal mines, open-pit mines, ports, coal preparation plants, and other industrial scenarios.


Structure Features & Working Principle:

Deep-Trough Anti-Spill Structure: The core adopts deep-trough idlers with a trough angle ≥50°, combined with an optimized compact idler layout, forming a stable "U" shaped material cross-section that significantly increases material capacity. High-strength side guards and adjustable baffles can be optionally installed along the line to provide multi-stage physical protection, effectively preventing material spillage and backflow during climbing.

Reinforced Key Components: For the complex stress conditions of steep-angle applications, key parts including the drive head, tail bend pulley, and take-up system are structurally reinforced and dynamically sealed. Specially designed housings and heavy-duty bearing seats improve overall rigidity and impact resistance, ensuring stable long-term operation in harsh environments.

Intelligent Drive Control:

Smooth Soft Start: Equipped with advanced soft start devices (e.g., VFD, CST controlled drive) as standard, enabling smooth, shock-free start-up and stop of the belt from zero to rated speed. This effectively reduces transient stress on the drive system and extends equipment service life.

Safety Braking (Optional): For steep-angle applications requiring precise shutdown, an integrated soft start + hydraulic disc brake control system is available. It provides seamless and precise control over start-up, speed regulation, and braking, completely eliminating the risk of "reverse rotation" or "belt slippage" during shutdown, ensuring dual safety protection for equipment operation.

Product Details

Suitable for continuous inclined conveying of bulk materials in coal mines, ports, coal washing plants, etc. The conveying angle is large, generally between 20 ° and 30 °. In addition to having the DTL series structure, the upper roller group can be designed with deep groove angles according to the inclination angle, and coal blocking and anti slip devices can be added as needed to prevent material scattering and sliding. The driving device adopts a soft start device, which can make the start of the belt conveyor controllable. The design of its head, tail, and tensioning device is innovative, structurally reasonable, and easy to install, use, and maintain.

This model of belt conveyor is divided into four parts: head unloading device, transmission device, tensioning device, middle part, and tail part.

1. The head unloading device consists of an unloading rack, an unloading drum, a cleaner, and other components.

2. The transmission device is the driving device of the entire conveyor, consisting of a motor, coupling, reducer, transmission drum, frame, reversing drum, etc. The electric motor drives the transmission drum through a coupling. The transmission drum adopts a welded structure, and the drum surface is cold bonded with diamond shaped adhesive. The adhesive surface is thick and wear-resistant, with good quality. It can increase the friction coefficient between the drum surface and the conveyor belt, prevent slipping, reduce the wear of the drum surface, and make the surface self-cleaning.

3. The middle part and middle frame adopt a channel steel fixed frame structure, with each section of channel steel being 6 meters long. The channel steel is connected to the support legs by bolts, and the roller frame channel steel is connected by bolts. The structure is simple, easy to assemble and disassemble, low labor intensity, and short operation time.

4. The tail and tensioning device are composed of a tail frame, tail drum, buffer roller, lower roller, plow cleaner, and tensioning trolley. The tail of the machine is fixed by the tail frame, and the tail drum is installed on the tail frame. The axis position can be adjusted to correct the deviation of the conveyor belt on the tail drum. The tensioning method adopts the return column winch tensioning method.
