Mining hoist winch uses steel wire ropes and drums to lift, lower and transport materials in vertical or inclined shafts and roadways.

Main Applications 

○Material & Transportation: Lower and lift ores, waste rocks, materials, equipment, etc.

Personnel Lifting: Safely transport miners up/down mine with haulage winches or cage.

Auxiliary Operations: Install, dismantle and traction pipelines, cables, large-scale equipment in shafts or roadways.

Purpose-built for mine shaft sinking

During vertical shaft excavation, it is used to suspend equipment such as hanging scaffolds, pumps, air ducts, compressed air cylinders, grouting pipes, etc. Through coordinated operation via a centralized control system, it performs tasks including multi-point synchronous suspension, guide rope tensioning, and equipment lifting/lowering. The corresponding number of winches can be configured according to the shaft size, construction technology and load requirements, to achieve coordinated and efficient operations in complex construction environments.

Mining Headframe

Supports head sheave, guides hoisting conveyance, transmits load. Ensures safe efficient hoisting of minerals, materials and personnel.

Working Principle

○Load Bearing: Supports head sheave (pulley) and hoisting conveyance, guides hoisting steel wire rope. Rope passes around head sheave, generates huge tensile force. Headframe transfers force to foundation.

○Guidance and Positioning: Guide rail system inside headframe guides hoisting conveyance (cage or skip) to run steady vertically, prevents swinging and rotation.

○Safety Guarantee: Safety facilities installed on headframe, including overwinding braking devices and anti-collision beams, prevent hoisting accidents.

Special vehicles for mine rail transportation, applied to rail haulage in underground roadways, mine shafts and surface tracks. The mine car itself has no power; it is towed by a locomotive or mine hoist and runs on narrow-gauge railways. Mine cars are classified by application: freight cars for transporting ore and gangue, man cars for personnel conveyance, and vehicles for delivering materials and equipment. Common types include flat cars, material cars, fixed mine cars, tipping mine cars, side-discharge mine cars and bottom-discharge mine cars.

Requires many auxiliary devices for excavation, muck removal, support, drainage.

○Hook: Key load-bearing connector linking hoisting rope to bucket, sinking platform and other critical components.

○Sinking Bucket: Primary conveyance for hoisting muck, concrete, small equipment and personnel during shaft sinking.

○Slipform: Enables continuous rapid concrete lining of shaft wall, forming smooth dense permanent support layer.

○Sinking Platform: Double-deck or multi-deck working platform suspended in shaft, can raise or lower, used for shaft sinking operations and personnel safety protection.

installed at the top of the headframe. such as fixed head sheave, movable head sheave, single-groove head sheave, double-groove head sheave, and multi-rope friction head sheave.

Its main functions include:

○Changing the direction of the steel wire rope: The hoisting rope is turned horizontally by the sheave and connected to the drum of the surface hoist.

○Withstanding huge tensile loads: It bears the full tensile force from the hoisting conveyance (cage or skip), payload, and the dead weight of the steel wire rope.

○Guiding and limiting: It restricts the swing of the steel wire rope to prevent it from jumping out of the groove or rubbing against the headframe.
