The drive assembly provides power to drive the closed scraper chain in a continuous loop within the robust middle trough. The scrapers on the chain directly push the coal, achieving forced, continuous conveying from the tail to the head. Meanwhile, the middle trough itself serves as the travel rail and support base for the shearer, enabling the equipment to perform both core functions of conveying and guiding within a compact structure.
